Kim writes: As I look out the window in to my garden I am starting to see some colour appearing. Beautiful yellow daffodils and pure white snowdrops (http://ilovedaffodils.com/). It’s amazing how Spring makes us feel better inside – it puts a spring in our step! I feel like I am waking up from hibernation and looking forward to some exciting projects this year.

Here is the low down of what’s going on and some exciting research projects that you might be able to help with.

Training Events

Harmony in the Home Parenting Workshop

This workshop is designed for parents to learn the EmoTrance technique and be able to apply it in two areas of parenting.

The first is The Pressure Cooker Effect. Too much to do, too little time. High demands on your mind and energy system from busy family life

The second is Parenting from the Heart. Staying in an open and loving space when your child is misbehaving or pushing their boundaries.

The mini workshop comes with a handout to explain the technique. It is 2.5 hours in duration and costs £30. I require a minimum of 4 to run the workshop and I currently have 3 interested parents. If you would like to join this workshop please let me know and a date will be fixed to suit all.

EmoTrance Annual Conference

This amazing conference takes place in Gatwick on 9th and 10th April. There is a fast track Practitioner training on 8th April and Trainers Training on 11th April as well. I cannot recommend highly enough the benefits you will have personally from the conference. Every year it is packed with new ideas and methods of healing yourself and others. Please go to www.emotrance.com for more details about it. I am presenting two subjects this year, the first is EmoTrance in the Community and Setting up your own Healing Group. The second is Inner Awareness Massage, combing EmoTrance techniques with physical muscular release. My daughter, Hannah, is presenting on Growing up Gracefully with EmoTrance. Techniques and applications specifically designed for teenagers. On Friday night Dr Silvia Hartmann will be launching her brand new re-written Guide to EmoTrance which we are all very excited about.

Research Projects – volunteers wanted

My training partner, Nicola Hok, and I are actively looking for volunteers to help with two very different research projects.

Healing Physical Abuse/Trauma

I am researching the phenomena of feeling disconnected or distanced from the body when reflecting on memories of physical abuse/trauma. I am looking for people who feel that they have stepped outside of their body when they allow themselves to think about the event. Or they may feel that at the time of the event they stepped out of the body in order to cope with what was happening. EmoTrance is very different to “talk it out” therapies and so details of the event do not need to be divulged or picked through in order to heal it. We do not need to revisit in minute detail what happened so the process of healing is kind, caring and not upsetting or traumatic.

Healing Past Life Trauma

Nicola is interested in working with people who feel they are affected in this life by past life trauma. You may have become aware of past life memories by way of a realistic dream, a hypnotherapy session, having been told by a clairvoyant or healer. If you feel an emotional connection/component to the past life event is with you today please email your interest in having this healed and transformed by Nicola.

In both cases your story will be written up as a case study but all identifying features will be removed. You will be able to review the case study and give your agreement for it to be used prior to publication. Your help is invaluable for the continued development and research of EmoTrance, a groundbreaking tool for 21st century life and emotions.

Healing and Personal Development Group

Each month a group of like minded people meet to help themselves and others stop feeling sad and bad and instead feel glad and mad! Please feel free to join us, we are a friendly bunch looking to develop our EmoTrance skills. The pre-requisite is some ET experience and if you want to join us but so far are a complete newbie, please contact me to arrange a 1-1 where I can show you the basics before you attend. I’ll even do that for you FOC – can’t ask for more than that now surely.

This month I am demonstrating Inner Awareness Massage. I will be explaining how EmoTrance and Massage have combined to create a wonderful blend of both physical and emotional release. I will show you a demonstration of the technique and there will be plenty of practice time to get your neck and shoulders released! Prepare to go home considerably more relaxed and de-stressed than when you arrived!
